Sevan Wood Mandir 18 x 8 inch – Carved Doors, Twin Drawers

The finest piece in the Sevan wood range — a hand-carved home temple in natural, unpainted timber, with a pair of doors carved right through in openwork so the deity stays protected from dust while still visible.

Every element is worked by hand: the figures pierced into the door panels, the leaf crest above, the turned pillars and the carved drawer fronts. Two base drawers hold agarbatti, wicks and prayer beads. The doors open flat against the frame, so nothing is in the way during aarti.

Left unfinished so you can keep the pale natural colour, or oil or wax it to deepen the grain.
