Sevan Wood Mandir 16 x 8 inch – Carved Peacock Doors

A hand-carved Sevan wood mandir in natural, unpainted timber, with a pair of doors carved right through in openwork peacock panels — the deity stays protected from dust while remaining visible.

The crest above is carved by hand, the pillars are turned, and a single drawer in the base holds agarbatti, wicks and prayer beads. The doors open flat against the frame so nothing is in the way during aarti.

Left unfinished so you can keep the pale natural colour, or oil or wax it to deepen the grain.
