Welcome Lord Ganesh into your home this Ganesh Chaturthi with this stately ~4.5 ft Visarjan Ganapati idol, hand-crafted in Plaster of Paris (POP) — the traditional medium chosen for its fine sculptable detail and readiness for the visarjan (immersion) ritual that closes the festival.
The four-armed Ganapati sits in a poised, benevolent posture beneath a tall gold halo-fan mukut centred on a deep blue gem. A teal-green uttariya scattered with gold dots and finished in gold sequin trim crosses the shoulder, worn over a cream and ivory pleated dhoti flecked with gold and bordered in a multicoloured pink, teal and yellow bead trim. A large gold circular medallion anchors the waist.
He is seated on a striking blue peacock-carved throne hung with red bead strands, his feet resting on a navy-purple footstool rimmed in gold, with the mushak in attendance below. Gold bangles, armlets and layered necklaces complete the ensemble.
Hand-painted with vivid colour and fine gold detailing, this idol is part of the "Heritage" collection by Shri Venilals.

About our handmade products
Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.
If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
