An elegant bajot finished in oxidised silver, with a raised embossed peacock panel at the centre of the top surrounded by fine floral and scroll work. A warm copper-toned wooden edge trim runs around the rim, and the piece stands on four ornately carved scrolled legs — an antique-look combination that sits beautifully in a traditional mandir.
At 18 inches square the top comfortably takes a large idol along with a kalash, thali and diya, making it a natural focal point for Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Navratri, Satyanarayan katha and wedding ceremonies. The oxidised silver finish pairs particularly well with brass and silver pooja ware.

Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
