An open-front mandir with a light inside. It is made from MDF in a dark wood finish, with ivory lattice panels on each side and a tall arch in the middle cut with an Om. A carved row of swastiks runs along the top.
Switch the light on and the lattice throws its pattern on the back wall and lights up the murti. A calm focus for morning and evening aarti. The front is open, so nothing blocks the view. A painted drawer in the base holds agarbatti, wicks and prayer beads.
At 16 inches wide and 24 high it looks like a proper home temple, not a shelf ornament. The dark finish with ivory panels suits a modern room as well as a traditional one.

About our handmade products
About our handmade products
Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.
If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
