How delivery and collection work

Handmade items, so colours and details may differ a little from the photo.

A sinhasan — the gold-finish metal throne a murti sits on inside the mandir. The back panel is stamped with a peacock and kalash motif, the sides are cut in an open jaali lattice, and the seat is lined in red velvet.

It stands on four turned legs with a domed finial at each corner. The gold plating is bright and the red backing shows through the pierced work, which is what gives the panel its depth.

Choose your size at checkout. The smaller two suit Bal Gopal and Laddu Gopal and small brass or marble murtis; the largest takes a mid-size idol with room for a small diya beside it.

About our handmade products

Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.

Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.

If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
