Hand-Painted Mandir 15 x 9 inch – Blue Jaipuri Home Temple

A hand-painted Jaipuri mandir in turquoise and deep blue, with a multicoloured painted canopy above the arch and a warm yellow base that lifts the whole piece. Fine floral work is picked out by hand across the frame and the back of the niche.

The blue here is unusual — most home mandirs are red or natural wood — so this one sits differently in a room and works particularly well against pale walls or lighter furniture.

The open front keeps the murti in full view for daily darshan, painted pillars frame the opening, and a base drawer holds agarbatti, wicks and kumkum. At 15 inches wide and 25 high there is room for a murti or two with a thali and diya in front.
