A soft, plain cotton dupatta in a single shade. Cotton is light, cool and comfortable, so it is easy to wear all day.

A plain dupatta is the useful piece in the wardrobe: it finishes a plain suit, softens a heavily worked one, or works as a chunni over a kurta.

Wearing it: over a salwar kameez or kurta, draped across one shoulder or both, or wrapped as a head covering for temple and mandir visits.

Care: Hand wash in cold water. Colours may run on the first wash, so wash on its own. Warm iron.

About our handmade products

Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.

Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.
