How delivery and collection work

Handmade items, so colours and details may differ a little from the photo.

A decorative jhula (palna) for Bal Gopal — the little swing that Laddu Gopal sits in on the mandir shelf, and the one that comes out for Janmashtami. Moulded in lightweight plastic with a bright gold finish, with enamelled red and navy colour work.

Scalloped red feather work fans out either side of the arch, with navy peacocks facing one another across the top and a seat on chains below. The same size as our blue and red arch, in a warmer colourway.

Good for

  • Janmashtami decoration
  • Daily seva for your Laddu Gopal
  • A gift for a new baby or a Krishna devotee

Product Specifications:

  • Approximate size: 6 x 2.5 inch (total)
  • Sitting area: 2.5 x 1.8 inch
  • Design: Red scalloped feather arch, navy peacocks
  • Material: Plastic, gold finish with enamel colour
  • Product code / barcode: 1453

Supplied without the murti — the seat takes a small Bal Gopal figure. Wipe clean with a dry cloth; the enamel colours do not like water.

About our handmade products

Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.

Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.

If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
