Cotton blouse lining in a 2x2 weave, sold as a blouse piece. This is the plain fabric that goes behind a saree blouse — not seen once the blouse is made, but doing most of the work.
A 2x2 cotton is the standard choice for lining because it holds its shape through repeated wear and washing without stretching at the seams, and it breathes, which matters over a long function. Sheer and lightweight blouse fabrics need it; heavier brocades are usually lined too, to stop the weave marking the skin.
Colours: available in the full range, so the lining can be matched to the blouse fabric or kept to a neutral. If you cannot see the shade you need, bring or send a sample and we will match it.
