POP Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Dagdusheth, 4.5ft – Blue Pagdi & Red Sequin

Inspired by the iconic Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati of Pune, this grand ~4.5 ft Visarjan Ganapati idol is hand-crafted in Plaster of Paris (POP) — the traditional medium chosen for its fine sculptable detail and readiness for the visarjan (immersion) ritual that closes Ganesh Chaturthi.

Seated in a regal pose befitting one of India's most beloved Ganesh idols, he holds a gold trishul (trident) in the upper-left hand and a gold mace/axe in the upper-right, with the lower hands held in gentle blessing mudras. He rests on a cushioned throne base with an ornately trimmed pedestal edge.

Available in three colourways/styles: Purple & Orange (violet shawl, bright orange dhoti with gold trim, tall gold mukut crown, turquoise cushion base), Red & Magenta (red-orange shawl, deep magenta pleated dhoti with gold trim, gold mukut crown, turquoise base with beaded/sequinned edge), and Blue Pagdi & Red Sequin (a fan-pleated blue fabric turban in place of a gold crown, red/pink dhoti scattered with gold sequin dots, pink cushion base with a teal peacock-feather-pattern pedestal border). Each idol is adorned with layered gem-studded necklaces, a jewelled gold chest-plate, gold armlets and bangles on all four arms, and a gold waist belt with medallions — capturing the richly decorated, regal look that has made the Dagdusheth style so iconic.

Hand-painted with vivid colour and fine gold detailing, this idol is part of the "Heritage" collection by Shri Venilals.
