POP Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Olive Gold Dhoti with Purple Uttariya, ~3ft

Welcome Lord Ganesh into your home this Ganesh Chaturthi with this elegant ~3 ft Visarjan Ganapati idol, hand-crafted in Plaster of Paris (POP) — the traditional medium chosen for its fine sculptable detail and readiness for the visarjan (immersion) ritual that closes the festival.

A gold fan mukut set with a purple-magenta centre gem crowns the figure, while a purple satin uttariya is draped over the left shoulder. Below, an olive and chartreuse-gold dhoti is finished with a heavy gold zari border and gathered at the waist by an ornate gold belt.

Ganapati is seated against a deep-blue oval backrest with a maroon bolster cushion at his side, his feet resting on a blue lotus footrest. Gold bangles, armlets and layered necklaces are painted throughout, finished down to the pink toenails.

Hand-painted with vivid colour and fine gold detailing, this idol is part of the "Heritage" collection by Shri Venilals.
