Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Jewellery Style, Pink Khes & Yellow Dhoti, Gold Prabhavali, ~15 inch

A tall gold prabhavali of scrolling foliage rises behind the whole figure, framing a gem-studded crown set with blue teardrops, emerald cabochons and pearl strands, above a magenta khes worn across both shoulders and a golden yellow dhoti.

One of nine Jewellery-style idols in this year's 15 inch range, and the only one with a full arched aureole.

Hand-painted on eco-friendly clay, with the stones set by hand one at a time.

A prabhavali is the carved arch normally reserved for temple bronzes, standing for the flame of divine energy surrounding the deity. He sits in the royal pose with one foot stepping down onto a gold footrest, and the reverse of the arch is left as unfinished natural clay, as it is meant to be seen only from the front.
