Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Full Safa Set, Pink Paithani & Marigold Velvet, ~15 inch

Magenta pink and gold paithani brocade edged with a fine gold bead chain forms the safa, pinned with a wide diamante brooch and a white feather kalgi, over a marigold velvet jacket and waistband dense with silver and gold sequin embroidery.

Part of the nine-piece Safa collection in this year's 15 inch range, each one dressed in real fabric rather than painted cloth.

Hand-painted on eco-friendly clay and dressed by hand.

The dhoti is trimmed with a scalloped marigold fringe that picks up the jacket, with a red velvet drape showing at the back. A single large pearl drop hangs at the chest in place of the layered haars used elsewhere in the tier, and he sits on a deep purple bolster with a gold button centre.
