Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Full Safa Set, Olive Gold Paithani & Orange Velvet, ~15 inch

Olive and antique gold brocade shot with turquoise, magenta and orange floral zari makes up the safa and dhoti, edged in orange picot lace, worn under a bright orange velvet patka with silver and gold sequin scrollwork and matching sequinned epaulettes.

Part of the nine-piece Safa collection in this year's 15 inch range, each one dressed in real fabric rather than painted cloth.

Hand-painted on eco-friendly clay and dressed by hand.

The epaulettes are unusual — most of the Safa pieces run the sash straight over the shoulder with no shoulder piece at all. He sits on a turquoise cushion set into a carved brown throne with scrolled arms, and a yellow dhoti panel shows at the back beneath the sash tails.
