Hand-painted on eco-friendly clay, it's built for a mandap centrepiece rather than a shelf. The features are picked out in careful detail, from the tilak on the forehead to the gold jewellery at the wrists.

The whole piece is finished for a clean, biodegradable visarjan when the festival ends.
